Insect’s Christmas!

We’re home from work this morning because the state has delayed office openings. Haven’t ventured outside yet to see just how icy it is… But it gave me time to do xmas cards (I didn’t send any last year!)… and here’s something for all of you…

An Insect’s Christmas

This is a stop-motion animation made in 1913 in Russia. I think the translators had a bit of trouble with their bugs, they called the grasshopper “Miss Dragonfly”.

I need stamps… so off for an icy adventure.

I didn’t do cards last year either, and I don’t think I’m getting around to them this year as well.

I’ll have to check out that animation when I’m not in a place that blocks Youtube. Sounds very interesting!

Oh man, you are SO lucky! In 28 years of working for New York State,
NEVER have they closed my office!

Hope you’re hanging in there and still have power. Mum said they just got rain up north but that you guys are encased in ice! Be safe!
