didn’t you know these things already?
Sucked into one of these things…. from kmkat.
I suppose some people must know at least some of these things already…
Things I’ve done (in Bold)…
- Started my own blog
- Slept under the stars
- Played in a band (but I did play my guitar in front of people a couple of times)
- Visited Hawaii
- Watched a meteor shower
- Given more than I can afford to charity (but I have given a lot… I figure it all comes back)
- Been to Disneyland/world (world, in 1977 or so, when Space Mountain was new)
- Climbed a mountain (several, mostly in the Adirondacks)
- Held a praying mantis (um, yeah, and lots of other bugs)
- Sung a solo (but not in front of people… the good ones are in the car at 75 mph to Dean Martin’s greatest hits…sad, so sad)
- Bungee jumped
- Visited Paris (I have never been off of this continent, unless the Bahamas counted)
- Watched lightning at sea (the lightning was at sea, I was on land)

- Adopted a child (No, but I have sponsored a child)
- Had food poisoning
- Walked to the top of the Statue of Liberty
- Grown my own vegetables
- Seen the Mona Lisa in France (again, not off the continent)
- Slept on an overnight train (see the May/June 2007 archives)
- Had a pillow fight
- Hitchhiked
- Taken a sick day when you’re not ill (but I called them mental health days)
- Built a snow fort
- Held a lamb (and a goat kid)
- Gone skinny dipping
- Run a Marathon (um, large breasts and running don’t mix well… I discoverd the wonderful world of double bras in my 30′s and have since found good single support items for athletic endeavors)
- Ridden in a gondola in Venice
- Seen a total eclipse
- Watched a sunrise or sunset
- Hit a home run (maybe?????, but it would have been a pretty lame game)

- Been fired from a job
- Seen the Changing of the Guards in London
- Broken a bone (from taking out the trash…)
- Been on a speeding motorcycle (the driver of said motorcycle even, but I never got my license because I had that broken ankle and the year I applied, I got chosen for a random special class, without which they would not give you a license, and I couldn’t ride in a cast…)

- Walked in Jerusalem (ack, again with off the continent…)
- Had my picture in the newspaper (but the funny thing is having your adult students say they read about you in the paper… huh?… in the police blotter! Yes, there does seem to be a lot of travel related stuff there. I want to know about the ambulance ride and the elephant, personally.

Oh, and yes, definitely want to hear about breaking bones while taking out the trash – that’s why I avoid that chore at all costs, you know…

Hmm, I’ve done most of the ones you’ve done. And I know you’ve met at least two famous people, for suitable definitions of famous.
