Carnaby Skirt!
The knitting is done… now to put on the buttons. And I think I’ll add a fabric waistband. I knitted this a little longer (meaning wider) than I needed, so I think I’ll add the buttons to the second textured band instead of the first, and put a snap inside.

I’m leaning to the skull buttons; the big celtic buttons are a close second. They’re actually a tad big for the buttonholes though.
I was going to overdye this a deep chocolate brown, but I kind of like it like this. Details on my Ravelry project page.

Ooh, knitted skirts! For some reason I love them and have no idea why. And I have no idea what mistake you’re talking about. Was that last picture supposed to be a closeup of it?

Hi Lisa!
This skirt is sooooooo beautiful! Congratulations!! Love the buttons, too, I like skulls the most, but I’ll pick the celtic ones for this project. I want to see you wearing it too!!
And, well, I can’t see the mistake but, whatever, for sure it’s not a mistake, just a pattern variation

You can always over dye it later if you so choose. Enjoy it as it now- lovely. No, no one can see the mistake but the knitter herself. I bet it was fun to knit!

Even tho the skull buttons fit better I like the celtic buttons better. More fitting for the skirt – just a Mom’s opinion. XXXXXOOOOOO

Just to be difficult, I like the lions. It looks great! And no one better ever be close enough to see that little individual variation there.
