first started and finished project of 2010

Mice… not sure what that’s saying…

mice no stuffing

They had big ideas about getting to the top of the snow mound…

They made it!

But somebody wants them to know who is in charge…
mice dominated by kitty

After all, kitty has whispered secrets with some pretty important beings…

And can climb more than just snowbanks…

The mice are stuffed with catnip pouches and are for a cat named Snowy. The white kitty is for a small friend in Syracuse, who lives with Snowy. She had been collecting small cats for some time, all the time wanting a real cat of her own… when Snowy, a white angora, wandered into their lives. This kitty isn’t stuffed with catnip… it’s made from leftovers from those white cabled mitts… and since I ran out of yarn while I was doing it, I used a bit of the alpaca tweed. Kitty was going to be tail-less, but then I finished the scarf and had plenty to make a tail. Good thing, kitty needs it for climbing!

Those are too cute! When I saw the first picture of the mice flat, I thought they were dischcloths. I like them much better as catnip mice.

These are adorable! I like the kitty rules photo. At first, when I looked at the first photo above, I thought, ooh, someone’s come up with a mouse washcloth pattern. Hmm….

The cat is very cute, and I’m sure Snowy will LOVE the mice. I’m glad the cat is a good climber! We have a lot of tall trees around! (small friend’s mom hopes it wasn’t supposed to be a surprise – the exclamations of appreciation upon viewing the photos followed by squeals of delight when small friend realized this is about/for HER were precious)

Love ‘em all and think they should star in their own t.v. or book series. You just did that, actually, HERE!
