Well it’s been a week, and my contest winner hasn’t surfaced! Does anybody know who Cathy-cate is? I’ll wait until next Sunday, and if I haven’t heard by then, I’ll put everybody’s name into the pot and pick a random winner. Fair? Right? Anybody know about blog contest etiquette?

I’m nearly done with the first sock of the Mt. Hood pair (pic on the bottom of the post).

I am not happy with my mustard sweater. I thought I’d add width to the front, in the seam area, and place the seam toward the back. Then, for various reasons, I thought I’d knit panels to sew in. Now, I don’t know. I am not loving the yarn. The fabric is a bit tight. So… I’m definitely thinking RIPit, maybe make it up on 7’s, maybe use the yarn for something else and make it up in a different yarn (but this would mean I’m not busting any stash!). So… I think it will sit until after my trip. I’ll be working on socks until and during that time!
