Here's the scoop: I was a brand spanking new blogger, and on wordpress, as you now know, comments & email addresses automatically get forwarded. I didn't know then that it wasn't the same for all blog platforms. I think I had to set up a LJ account for something, maybe even to comment, but yes, it was just a 'front'; I didn't realize there was no way to track me down. AND this was before I discovered bloglines! So I would wander aimlessly around the blogosphere, as if in Brownian motion, bumping into interesting blogs, and not being able to find them again. That's exactly what happened; I couldn't remember your blog name, just vaguely the 'zu' part maybe, and I couldn't find you again for quite some time. By which time any recollection of a contest was long gone. And I never knew I won! So my feelings certainly weren't hurt. I can't believe that was only a year ago; it seems much longer than that. We're older and so much wiser. (And some of us have less thumb now than then. Do be careful! Thumbs come in very handy!) It's very sweet of you to send me a consolation prize for my blog-naivete! : ) (I'm guessing it's not mice-icles for the snake....) Oh, Lisa, that’s too funny!
