Wow - just wow. I can't believe you have evidence of crocus in your yard!! I've been looking for my first crocus of the season, but I don't think there are any planted here. Have been enjoying watching Sir Thomas Turkey put on a display for the ladies, though - looks just like the Thanksgiving turkeys!

And bravo for having a little history/geography in your blog - I'm proud of you!

We ended up doing something again last night (a friend had unexpectedly open spots at her table for a dinner recognizing local people for their work preventing child abuse, and asked us to come) so I have not been able to get the anti-rabbit stuff on, nor have I checked to see if my crocuses have been beheaded yet this morning. I work this morning, but this afternoon, the bunny repellent is definitely getting applied! Hopefully not too late for the white and purple one I showed on my blog yesterday.

Those megasnowpiles on the north-facing side will be a while yet thawing! Maybe you'll get a big rain like we did this week; it helped a ton, sluicing snow away. And fortunately, not enough to get much flooding.

I guess I should stop complaining; our snow is finally gone. Of course it's been rainy and nasty, but at least its not white! It is only April though, still plenty of time for more.

What those semi drivers are capable of doing with their 44' rigs amazes me. A couple years ago I drove our Dodge conversion van through lower Manhattan on a weekday. That was enough close space driving to last me forever.
